WikiBiffy

Wikibiffy is the replacement site for BiffierThanThou, which was built on Moveable Type software. Its aim is to be a collaborative fansite for Biffy Clyro, the self proclaimed "Best Scottish rock band from Ayrshire with twins in."

Edits should be made freely - a quick guide is available at Media Wiki If editing or putting in a gig page, please put the tour name, Venue, Date - e.g. Ideal Height Tour, King Tut's, 15th December 2007.

Current information particularly required:

Tour

Bootlegs

Albums

As of the 18th of February, I've started a Category:Venues sub-project. This is intended to let people click on a venue name in the gig listing, which will take them to a venue description, and a linked list of all the shows that have happened at that venue. I've started this off with the Barrowlands and King Tut's pages.

Other categories under construction:

Where possible, gig listings should be crossreferenced back to the song page, so you can click on a song, it'll take you to the page description, and you can see when it was played, and vice versa. Similarly, you should be able to click on a city and see all the shows that have happened there. The photo content from the MT site is freely linkable - it's all either my own copyright, or the rights were agreed previously. Similarly with the audio files, the rule has always been: nothing commercially available (no album or single tracks, for example), and no bootlegs of anything that's unreleased yet - so no copies of That Golden Rule at present, for example (as at July 16th 2009). Edit: 30th June 2010; I've found a whole bunch of videos that I forgot I had. They can be perused and linked to at http://biffierthanthou.com/video/ :-)

Edit: 16th July 2010 I've had to move the music off the server till the end of the month, because of bandwith problems caused by bots.
